Background

Three Whales Film Company is a Russian film production company.

Logo (February 9, 2001)

Visuals: On a space background, a gold filmstrip extends outwards from the bottom, curls upwards when from a far-off distance, and forms a film reel that rolls up the film from the bottom. Then, while its rim shines in a counterclockwise direction, the reel rotates to a side view, showing an engraved symbol featuring three whales carrying a wireframe globe through their tails. The logo zooms out, flattens to white, and then " КИНОКОМПАНИЯ" and "Три Кита", both with a beveled texture, slide in from the top and bottom. A horizontal light spark emerges in between the symbol and the bottom text.

Technique: CGI.

Audio: A synthesized, regal drum and horn fanfare.

Availability: The logo is seen on Курортный роман.
