Background

Ton of Hats is an American film production company run by Mike Hatton.

Logo (August 19, 2014-)

Visuals: Set on tan-tinted vellum while scrolling clouds are overlayed onto the texture, a still, black and white photograph of a smiling man in a suit and bowler hat looking upwards is shown while five hats of varying kinds fall from the top and land on top of the one the person is wearing. Then, the picture zooms out, the vellum crops to a perfect square, and "TON of HATS", in a stacked format, with the latter in a printed non-filled serif font and with a thick shadow facing the bottom right, and with all words containing a lower right facing thin, dark shadow, scroll in from the left and right within the paper respectively. Before the words stop, the photograph and hats become transparent, and black splatter marks fade in below the chin of the man.

Technique: 2D computer animation.

Audio: The opening theme of the film plays while tapping and whooshing is heard.

Availability: The logo is seen on Live Nude Girls and Every Last One of Them.
