Background

In 1999, Acclaim Entertainment rebranded their development teams under the single "Acclaim Studios" banner. Iguana UK, the British division of Iguana Entertainment formerly known as Optimus Software, was rebranded as Acclaim Studios Teesside. The following year, founders Darren and Jason Falcus left the studio to form Atomic Planet Entertainment, and after production on Shadow Man: 2nd Coming was completed in 2002, Acclaim shuttered the studio and relocated employees over to Acclaim Studios Cheltenham.
