Background

Airtight Games was a development studio founded in 2004 by the core team that worked on Crimson Skies: High Road to Revenge. It was based in Redmond, Washington. The company was closed in July 2014.

1st Logo (January 19, 2010)

Visuals: A machine-like object is shown, consisting of a steel rectangle with three circles on the bottom-left, a curvy line on the bottom-right, a circle on the bottom with a horizontal line overlaid on it. Inside of the circle, there is a window, in which a blue light illuminates through it. The entire thing resembles a drawing of a old-fashioned diver's helmet. Below, there is the text "AIRTIGHTGAMES" in a geometric font, with "AIR" being tilted and placed beside the stacked text "TIGHTGAMES".

Technique: A still, digital graphic.

Audio: None.

Availability: It is known to have appeared on Dark Void.

2nd Logo (June 21, 2012-June 13, 2014)

Visuals: The same diver's helmet drawing is seen on the left side of the screen, albeit greatly simplified and in a plain white color. To the left, the text "AIRTIghT" is shown in a different geometric font, with "gAmES" squashed underneath of "TIghT", especially the "m".

Variants:

  • On Quantum Conundrum, the helmet drawing and "gAmES" are colored sky blue. The logo is shown scrolling vertically on a blueprint background, with floating formulas over the logo. The opening theme plays here.
  • On Soul Fjord, the logo is stacked vertically and the area around the diver's helmet is hollowed out. The logo is also animated like an generic 70s production logo, film effects and all, zooming out while rotating into place and emitting trails. It starts off as pink, then red, and finally yellow. A strange synth "wah" is heard here.

Technique: A still, digital graphic.

Audio: None.

Availability: The regular logo only appears on Immortal: Soul Suspect, but the variants appear on their aforementioned games.
