Background

Marvel Games is the licensing and publishing brand for video games based on Marvel properties, and is also the video game division of Disney Interactive. Before the incorporation of Marvel Games, video games based on Marvel properties released between 1982 and 1985 were handled by Marvel Comics Group, with Marvel video games from 1986 to 1998 being handled by Marvel Entertainment Group, while video games based on Marvel properties prior to the incorporation of Marvel Games were handled directly by Marvel Enterprises.

Logo (July 25, 2024-)

Visuals: The screen shifts between comic book pages with a tint that shifts from yellow to red. The text "MARVEL GAMES" slowly materializes through glitch effects before becoming metallic and silver, with "MARVEL" being in a metal box and "GAMES" having lines over and under it. As this happens, the comic pages fade out and the background darkens before fading into a red color, with a light shining on the words.

Technique: CGI by Perception, Picturemill and Éxodo Animation Studios.

Audio: Pages flipping, a hip-hop fanfare, glitch sounds and an electronic drone.

Availability: It was first seen on the No One Rival Dooms Cinematic trailer and Jeff the Land Shark Character Reveal teaser trailer of Marvel Rivals.
