Background

Kowloon Nights is a gaming investment fund founded by Alexis Garavaryan and Jay Chi.

1st Logo (July 25, 2019-)

Visuals: On a dark concrete wall background, there's the neon sign "KOWLOON NIGHTS" in a stacked format and the former word being bigger in size. All letters in the latter word would light up simultaneously while the letters in the former word light up in a random order, some of which light up at the same time as another. As the light on the sign subtly shines brighter and then darker, the screen slowly zooms into the sign.

Variants:

  • A print version exists where the wires connecting the letters forming "KOWLOON" can be seen.
  • On Tchia, the logo, alongside the Kepler Interactive logo, are engraved on a wooden wall.

Technique: CGI.

Audio: The sound of neon lights turning on and gently buzzing.

Availability: The logo made its overall debut on A Place for the Unwilling. The animated variant appeared on the aforementioned game as well as Welcome to Elk, We Are OFK, and Ultros. The print variant appears more often than the animated variant, making its first appearance on Legend of Keepers.

2nd Logo (April 5, 2023-)

Visuals: The text "Kowloon" is shown in a stylized text, which consists of varying stroke sizes for each letter, rounded ends for the "w" and "n", two of the "o"'s in the style of a ring, and the "K"'s arm being thinner than the rest of said letter.

Variants: The style of the logo may change depending on the game:

  • En Garde!: The logo is in a color resembling orange.
  • Shadow Gambit: The Cursed Crew: The logo is in a neon green color and glowing on a black background.
  • Jumplight Odyssey: The logo is glowing and superimposed on the opening shot of the game.
  • Solium Infernum: The logo is red and glowing on a black background.
  • Sea of Stars: The logo is pixelated.

Technique: A still, digital graphic.

Audio: None.

Availability: It made its debut on En Garde! and was later seen on Sea of Stars, Shadow Gambit: The Cursed Crew, and Battle Shapers.
