PF Magic

Background

PF Magic was a San Francisco-based video game developer founded in 1991. They have initially produced video games for home consoles before shifting their attention towards virtual games for the PC, notable the Catz and Dogz series. In 1998, the company was purchased by Ubisoft Entertainment.

Logo (November 3, 1994-April 1996)

Visuals: On a black background, there is a black and white drawing of a juggler in jester clothing juggling three red balls. The juggler overlaps with the right half of a CD where the portion of it overlapping with the disc is white. Underneath the logo is "PF.magIc" in a tall, serif font.

Variants:

Sometimes, the logo may appear on the game's title screen.
On Ballz, there is a custom logo variation where copyright information is displayed on the bottom of the screen containing the game and company name. Then, the background crossfades to a spherical version of the juggler and the balls, the former of which comes to life to pick up the three balls to juggle. Shortly after juggling them, the juggler holds all three of them on its left hand, tosses them out, and leaps down into the opening sequence of the game.

Audio: None.

Audio Variant: On Ballz 3D, the opening theme of the game starts playing as the juggler pops out of the logo.
