Background
Philos Laboratories Software Developer Ltd. was a Hungarian video game development company founded in 1996 as the successor of Morbid Visions. The company name was changed to Philos Entertainment Inc. after receiving a large sum from an investment firm in October 2000. Later in the company's history, Philos also offered motion capture services for a short time.
The company was closed in 2004, while working on Imperium Galactica III, and its employees joined Mithis Entertainment. They finished the game under the name of Nexus: Jupiter Incident.
