SEK is an abbreviation for "Spieleentwicklungskombinat". Founded in 1998 by Carolin Batke, Thomas Langhanki, Ingo Neumann and Carsten Orthbrandt, it was a German developer, with the 30 percent holding by Sunflowers. After the release of ParaWorld, the financial loss hit the company and made it dissolve in 2007.

Visuals: Among working gears, the logo plate (with a worker holding his arm up with a hammer with a yellow aura behind him on a red background) with "SEK" carved below descends on two steel chains. It appears turned but then corrects to the normal position and shines.
