Background

5Star (formerly Five Life) - Five's first offshoot digital channel - launched on 15 October 2006 with a schedule aimed primarily at a female audience. It relaunched as FIVER on 28 April 2008. As part of the re-vamping of Channel 5's portfolio of channels, Fiver (originally launched as Five Life) became 5* on 7 March 2011. The presentation is basically the same as Fiver's, but edited to include the new logo.

6th Logo (11 Feburary 2016-1 September 2019)


Hotel: On a dark night sky at the right, we see a hotel filled with multicoloured light that has lots of black patterns inside it. On the number is the title '5' shaded in and on the right is the text 'STAR'.

Tunnel: On a light hallway in the middle, we see a dark tunnel filled with multicoloured lights that has lots of patterns inside it. With some people running with bikes and without, the people run away really downtown like one in a flash. It appears the text '5' shaded on the left and in the right is the title 'STAR'.

Shop: On a dark midnight sky, we see filled ribbons on the left that has red strings inside it. On the hotel shows some patterns turning around and then back again with a flash as well. It last appears the text again '5' in shaded and the title 'STAR'.
