Background

Beam Entertainment was formed in 1993 to distribute home video products. Happinet Corporation took over in 1999 and renamed to Happinet Pictures in 2002.

1st Logo (1995-1998)

Visuals: On a black background, there is the big letter "B" sliding in, while the gold text "BEAM" sliding in at the same time. The pattern repeat with the letter "E", along with the word "ENTER'", and the pattern repeats again with the letter "S", along with the word ""SUPER"" and finally, the letter "T", along with the word "THEATER". The logo then zooms out, and the initials turn red as a white gradient box with a camera on it over a filmstrip fades in on a teal gradient background.

Technique: CGI.

Audio: A droning theme, along with some chimes at the end.

Availability: Seen on early Beam Entertainment releases. [Examples?]

Technique: 2D computer animation

Audio: A whoosh sound, along with a chime when the text appears.
