Background

Launched on October 20, 2007, Canal+ Family was Canal+'s main kids channel, featuring programming for them and the whole family. The channel closed on August 30, 2021 and was replaced by Canal+ Kids ("kids" spelled in lowercase just like "family") and Canal+ Docs, although it is still available to watch in Africa and Poland.

1st ID (August 31, 2009-2011)

Visuals: Similar to the 2009 Canal+ idents, but this time the lettering is incorporated into them on a colorful background and "family" is put to the right of the +.

Technique: CGI from Devilfish.

Audio: A playful techno-synth theme, which is different for all variants, but all include a rendition of four ascending notes at the end.

2nd ID (2011-August 30, 2021)

Visuals: Also similar to the 2009 Canal+ Idents, but various shapes appear over the divided live-action footage. The end animation is the same as the first.

Technique: 2D animation superimposed over live-action footage.

Audio: Usually starts with ambience, then it turns into various musical notes. Like the previous logo, it is different for all variants.
