Background

Dimps (also known as Dimps Digital Innovator and Dimps Corporation) is a Japanese video game developer located in Osaka, Japan. The company was founded in 2000, and its first game was Sonic Advance for the Game Boy Advance. The company is known for the Dragon Ball Z: Budokai trilogy and the Sonic Advance games. The company is simultaneously owned by Bandai Namco Entertainment, Sega Sammy Holdings, and Sony Interactive Entertainment.

Logo (December 20, 2001-)

Visuals: On a white background, there is the text "Dimps" with a line getting shorter when extended (causing the "P" to connect). Under it is the text "D I G I T A L I N N O V A T O R".

Technique: Fade animation.

Audio: None.

Availability: Seen on all Dimps-developed games. Examples are the Dragon Ball Z: Budokai games. Although the company developed all of the Sonic Advance games, the logo does not appear, but instead the Sega and Sonic Team logos.
