Background

Canal 2 (also known as TV-2) is a Salvadoran free-to-air television channel launched on November 30, 1965 by Boris Eserski as Circuito YSR TV-2 with its name inherited from the Salvadoran radio station Circuito YSR, which he also owned. It is one of the four free-to-air television channels owned by Telecorporacion Salvadoreña alongside channels 4, 6 and TCS+.
