One or more descriptions on this page are missing or incomplete. If you have any further information on these logos, please consider editing this page to make our descriptions more complete. |
1st Logo (1980-1990)
Logo: On a teal gradient background, two cards that feature a sun-like object and the letters "E" and "O" slide in. After that, they open up into a box, then some blue and green stripes move into the box, then come to the top of it. We see that the box made of the cards are gone, and the stripes come together and become the EO symbol (the blue stripes becoming a circle and the green ones becoming an abstract "E" that looks like a reversed "3"). Before that's done, the background turns black and a light rises in the center.
Technique: 2D animation.
Audio: An orchestral fanfare that becomes more powerful.
2nd Logo (1983-1990)

Technique: Unknown
Audio: A calm, orchestral fanfare.
3rd Logo (1990)
Logo: Unknown

4th Logo (1990-1991)
Logo: Unknown
Technique: CGI
Audio: A remix of the 2nd logo with a piano, synth drums, a synth horn, a background choir and Violins, ending with a synthesized ping.
5th Logo (1991-1996)
Logo: We see the new EO logo (a rounded rainbow "E" with a blue "O" inside it) rotating as it travels against various searchlights, with the camera panning with it. As the logo travels, we see some live-action videoclips in the searchlights. Then, the logo goes through the lights and faces us, with the lights disappearing.
Technique: CGI.
Audio: A slow, uplifting fanfare with french horns at the start, an electric guitar, a trumpet and synth beats.
Availability: The station no longer existed at this logo's end date.
