Background

GTRK Tatarstan is the state regional broadcaster of the Tatarstan Republic from Russia, headquartered in Kazan.

1st ID (1994-1998)

Visuals: In a starfield, the spinning globe of the Earth is seen moving to the bottom of the screen, then the screen fades into a glowing, rotating Earth model. The landmass of the Tatarstan region, in bottom perspective, zooms into the screen while the background fades to a saturated sky, and four screen showing footage of economic activities in the region zoom in, behind it we can also see some houses. A flag then appears as the rest fades out, then "ТАТАРСТАН" in red fades and slowly moves into the screen, while the landmass appears again. A TV screen zooms in behind everything else, with the text reflected. Everything then fades out to the same "ТАТАРСТАН" but in white, with the green text "ТЕЛЕВИЗИОННЫЙ КАНАЛ" above and the red translation "ТЕЛЕВИДЕНИЕ КАНАЛЫ" below.

Technique: CGI mixed with stock footage.

Audio: A majestic string fanfare.

2nd ID (1998-2002)

Visuals: On a black background, three streaks (one green, one red and one white) flies from the bottom-left corner and orbits in a diagonal direction before flashing away in the center, in which the background changes to sky blue with white streaks and red, green and white curves in the bottom-left and top-right corners whilst a tulip is seen zooming in whilst glowing. The red and green curves fade out whilst the white curve shrinks, revealing it as a circle. As this is happening, the tulip "explodes" and the screen is horizontally divided into thirds. In the center, glassy letters "ТРТ" turn clockwise horizontally before a gold ring swoops past from the left, changing the background into a more fiery orange setting. Another line appears, this time a vertical one on the right. Various clips of Tatarstan's landscape are shown in the center rectangles, with Tatar text scrolling on the bottom in the rectangle right of the vertical line. The line eventually fades away and the same gold ring wipes over the sequence once more, changing the background's color to a dark purple and wiping away the top horizontal line. The same tulip shown before fades in with several streaks of light wiping through it before it shines. "ТРТ" in its same glassy appearance horizontally turns clockwise before fading out and Tatar text flies from the bottom of the screen, curving around the tulip and flying downwards before "ТРТ" fades back in, now appearing as a golden outline. Both the letters and tulip continue to shine as the background fades to black.

Audio: A droning synth jingle which segues into a dreamy synth fanfare.

3rd ID (2002-2003)

Visuals: The sequence begins with vertical Russian text scrolling down on the left side of the screen, accompanied with numerous copies of a flower-like shape zooming out on the center-right. The shapes then zoom in as "ТРТ" appears alongside them. The screen flashes and a glassy tulip rapidly zooms out behind the letters, with the aforementioned shapes continually zoom in. Along with the tulip, a navy blue vertical bar appears on the left of the screen and a light blue-white circle with "ТРТ" inside spins itself in at the bottom left corner. The sequence is then followed with live action shots of the following:

• A tree with white flowers

• Three horses in a field
• A long distance shot of a radio tower
• A plane taking off

• An operating oil rig
• Six ducks in a lake
• Two people wrestling
• Unknown
• A red firework exploding
• Unknown

After that, the same animation sequence shown at the start of the ident plays, with the addition of two phone numbers fading in at the bottom center.

Audio: A dramatic synth-Europop theme.
