Background

TV Aratu (also known as SBT Bahia) is a television channel with headquarters in Salvador, the capital of the state of Bahia. Since 1997, it is affiliated with SBT.



1st ID (March 15, 1969-1972)


Visuals: On a granite-like background, the text "TV ARATU" on the bottom fades in. At the same time, the background zooms out a little. As this happens, an outlined rooster figure facing to the right zooms onto the screen until every respective animation is complete.

Technique: Motion-controlled animation.

Audio: When the rooster zooms in, a long rooster crow is heard.

2nd ID (1972-1979)

Visuals: On a blue background with grey stripes is the rooster zooming out to its place, while the wordmark slides from the right to the left, bouncing back to the middle. While this happens, the stripes rotate slowly.

Visuals: The screen slowly zooms out from eight yellow panels, containing pictures of certain places around Brazil. Some of them flip. The screen then zooms out again to reveal the text "CNT". "TV ARATU" zooms out from the screen, standing just below the "CNT" text.
