ID (1977-1980)

Visuals: On a dark blue background, a rotating red-orange mass of stripes comes rotating in from the right. As such, it then zooms out and forms into an abstract-looking "12", made of orange/hot pink bicolored lines, and the "2" ending with an arrow. "WYES.TV", in a black font styled after the 1971 PBS logo, zooms in from the bottom and flips to face upright.

Technique: 2D motion-controlled animation.

Audio: A synth-brass fanfare.
