===Background===
EA Black Box was a studio founded in Vancouver, Canada, in 1998 by former employees of Radical Entertainment as "Black Box Games". It never used a logo until 2000 and seems not to use it for many years after 2002. In June 2002, it was purchased by [[Electronic Arts]] and became the wholly-owned subsidiary known as EA Black Box. It's primary known for Need of Speed series and Skate series. In July 2012, it was renamed Quicklime Games during the development of Need for Speed World, and shortly thereafter closed for good in April 2013.
