Background

Eiga Bancho was a Japanese film company.

Logo (April 24-October 23, 2004)

Visuals: On a white background, there is a hand-drawn scrabble of a person sitted on his director's chair, tapping a megafone and speaking in a chipmunked gibberish language. Below the drawing, there's the text "EIGA BANCHO" in a Futura-like font. Then, he stands up and goes away after speaking again. The camera zooms slowly (a la sort of a click-and-zoom software) to the company name written in Japanese and with its translation below. The text is set inside the top of the chair.

Technique: 2D animation.

Audio: A relaxing ditty music with the gibberish voice of the director.

Availability: Seen on all films made for Eurospace's "Eiga Bancho" collection, such as Lost ★ My Way and Marebito.
