Background

GTRK Buryatia (ГТРК Бурятия) is the state regional broadcaster of the Buryatia Republic from Russia, headquartered in Ulan-Ude.

ID (2000-2004)

Visuals: On a black background, there is a bar tinted turquoise with a sea footage of it. It divides into blue and red bars, and the footage fades to a stream with the bars dividing into blue, red, and green. It fades to the same sea footage, now full-screen and a woman being in the rectangle, as the sparks are shown falling down. The camera zooms out to reveal her wearing some sort of traditional clothing, and a sideway turquoise, purple, blue, and yellow background. The rectangle and background wipe out clockwise, and the woman does a gesture similar to "namaste". The background changes to navy and the same woman standing on a silver circular object, as it spins, making the woman slide away. It flashes and spins, afterward fading out to reveal the futuristic letters "БГТРК". They turn white, and the same circular object flies in and connects. It spins once again, and the white words "БУРЯТСКОЕ ТЕЛЕВИДЕНИЕ" fade in above and below.

Technique: Live-action, computer animation and CGI.

Audio: A peaceful piano & violin tune accompanied by waves splashing, stream sound, and a chime glissando. This is followed by a whoosh when the woman slides away, a thud when the object flashes, and many soft hits.
