1st ID (1984)
Visuals: On a grey background, three maroon bars slide in from the left and right, connecting. The logo (which consists of an abstract italic number "42" with a white star between them, slides in from the top, and white words "KBVO-TV AUSTIN, TEXAS" slide in from the left on the last bar.
Technique: Sliding effects.
Audio: An upbeat saxophone tune, followed by an announcer saying "Independent television. Serving the Hill Country, and Central Texas. This is KBVO-TV. Channel 42, Austin.".
2nd ID (1986)
Visuals: There is the same logo from before appearing in the center with a steel form, and the background has the copies of the logo rising up.
Technique: Scrolling effects.
Audio: An upbeat trumpet tune.
3rd ID (1990)
Visuals: On a sky timelapse, regular numbers "42" in the same color as before zoom out and face the viewer. They morph into its aforementioned logo, and a CGI United States Capitol zooms out to the center. Word "KBVO-TV" appears letter-by-letter, as the two dimensional Fox lines wipe in. The searchlights appear, and a golden Fox logo zooms in.
Technique: CGI.
Audio: An upbeat triumphant tune with a guitar riff.
4th ID (1994)
Visuals: Over a colorful rectangles appearing background, the numbers "42" slide in from the left & right, as the CGI capitol spins and settles in the center. White words "AUSTIN, TEXAS" slide in from the bottom, looking to the right and facing the viewer. A silver star zooms out, and the logo flashes to its version from before. Grey words "KBVO FOX" fly in from the right and face the viewer.
Technique: CGI.
Audio: An upbeat trumpet tune, followed by a man singing "Everybody knows, it's on Fox 42!"
