Background

KFAA-TV (channel 51) was a television station licensed to Rogers, Arkansas, serving as the NBC affiliate for Northwest Arkansas and the Arkansas River Valley. The station was a satellite of KPOM-TV in Fort Smith at the time, and both stations were owned by Griffin Television. In 2004, the Griffin Television sold KPOM-TV and KFAA to Nexstar as their new regional local newscast, Arkansas NBC News, unsuccesfully break into the market. The stations then changed their calls to KNWA-TV and KFTA-TV respectively on August 13, 2004, and KNWA became the main station of the two.

1st ID (October 1, 1989)

Visuals: On a black background, NBC's logomark flips in from the left, as the white text "51 KFAA-TV ROGERS" rotates in while zooming out, with the number "51" at the top, the word "KFAA-TV" at the middle, and the word "ROGERS" at the bottom. At the end, when all of them then stop moving, the NBC's wordmark ends up next to the number "51", and the logo is seen facing to the right side,

Audio: A whimsical tune, with an announcer saying "KFAA, TV 51, Rogers.".

2nd ID (1995)

Visuals: On a blue background, the NBC logomark appears and zooms out to the right. A silver "51" flips in with trail effects, and the silver text "KFAA" in spaced-out letters wipes in below. White text that says "The One & Only" in a handwriting font writes in at the bottom.

Audio: An upbeat chime & guitar tune accompanied by an announcer saying the line from before.

Visuals: On a steel blue background with the glass NBC logo spinning, the station's number with NBC's logomark, along with white text "NBC" and "KFAA-TV/ROGERS" below, are seen slowly turning to the left.

Audio: An uplifting trumpet tune with a female vocalist, accompanied by an announcer saying "NBC 51, Rogers.".
