Background

KVVT became KHIZ in 1992; that same year, KABC boosted its signal to the Mojave Desert, causing channel 64 to disaffiliate with ABC. In the mid-2000s, the station changed its format and service area to be transmitted in both the Los Angeles Metropolitan Area and the Inland Empire region. KHIZ eventually incorporated ethnic programming into its schedule. FilmOn took over the station's operations under an LMA on September 1, 2012, at which point it became KILM.

1st ID (1992-1996)

Visuals: On a blue gradient background, a blue square is seen. A golden abstract number "64" zooms out from the left, and the footage cuts to a blue background with weird grey objects moving in it. Text "KZIZ" (possibly due to an error) appears letter by letter, and the footage cuts to the same blue background with silver words "BARSTOW VICTORVILLE PALMDALE" flying around, and a word "LANCASTER" zooming out. The logo from before then fades in.

Technique: CGI.

Audio: A futuristic synth theme with an announcer saying "TV 64. KHIZ. Barstow, Victorville, Palmdale, Lancaster. Your local choice!".

• Early Variant: A red curtain is shown. It soon wipes out, revealing a black background with blue & purple spotlights moving. A same logo from before, but sandwiched between silver words "CHANNEL" and "KHIZ", zooms in. White words "BARSTOW VICTORVILLE APPLE VALLEY HESPERIA" in a stacked format fade in in the left.
• Later Variant: On a blue background with a grid below and lines shooting on it, the station's logo zooms in. The words from before fade in.

Audio:

• Early Variant: A majestic triumphant fanfare with an announcer saying "KHIZ. TV 64. Barstow, Victorville, Apple Valley, Hesperia.".
• Later Variant: An ascending deep synth note with a warbling whoosh, accompained by an announcer saying the aforementioned line. A droning synth hit is heard being held out.
