Background

Guadeloupe 1ere was originally a television service intended to distribute ORTF material in the French territories of Guadeloupe, Saint-Barthélemy and Saint-Martin. On December 31, 1982, it became independent from its FR3 counterpart and started distributing other television programmes by itself.

1st Logo (November 30, 2010-2012)

Visuals: Same as the France 2 logo from the time, except that the France Télévisions wordmark appears below the lights for a brief time, and fades away when the lights start moving. The lights, the logo (with the "2" replaced with a "1") and the background turn yellow to indicate the channel prior to the programme. "france" is also replaced with "guadeloupe".

Technique: CGI.

Audio: Same as the France 2 logo from the time.

2nd Logo (2012-2014?)

Visuals: On a yellow background, a yellow cube spins from us, turns into the Guadeloupe 1ere logo from before, and settles. The text "guadeloupe" in white pops up from the logo to the left, followed by "présente" in black to the right. The square then starts spinning and approaching the camera. The two texts then hide themselves behind the logo again, and the logo turns back into the cube from before and zooms towards the camera.

Technique: CGI.

Audio: A six-note marimba tune, accompanied by reversed electronic sounds.
