Background

Matsuda Film Productions (株式会社 マツダ映画社) was a Japanese film company established in 1952 by Matsuda Shinsui. The company restores and distributes silent films.

Logo (1952-)

Visuals: Over a black background, there is an "M" with "映" at the top. "株式会社 マツダ映画社" wipes in from the left below it and after that, it moves down and "マツダ・フィルムライブラリー" appears above.

Technique: 2D cel animation.

Audio: None or the opening theme of the movie.

Availability: Seen on Japanese movies during the times like 妖絃怪猫伝.
