Background

Ronaldo was a Brazilian label of Peruvian bootleg video game developer Twin Eagles Group. It only released 1 game, TEG's own Mundial Ronaldinho Soccer 64, a Latin American bootleg of International Superstar Soccer 64, which became a meme throughout 2020, thanks in part due to its intro.

Prior to the formation of the Ronaldo label, TEG would release other bootleg versions of games from the International Superstar Soccer franchise with Ronaldinho theming.

Visuals: On a black background, a gray word "RONALDO" is shown above, zooming out later. The screen abruptly cuts to a B&W photograph of a soccer player (possibly Ronaldinho Gaúcho) with the background being erased.

Technique: Computer effects.

Audio: An upbeat synth theme, loosely based on that of International Superstar Soccer 64's own theme.

Availability: Seen on a bootleg version of Nintendo 64's International Superstar Soccer 64, named Mundial Ronaldinho Soccer 64.
