Skydance New Media

Background

Skydance New Media is a video game development studio founded by Skydance Media in November 2019, led by Amy Hennig. In October 2021, the studio announced a planned collaboration with Marvel for an action-adventure game. The following year in April, it was announced that the company would collaborate with Lucasfilm Games to make a game based in the Star Wars universe.

Logo: Logo: On the same background as the current Skydance Media logo, we see the letters in "SKYDANCE" zooming out. Once they are almost finished zooming, a flash of light draws an arc underneath as "NEW MEDIA" (in Hurme Geometric Sans 2 Regular font) is seen being wiped in.

Technique: CGI animation.

Music/Sounds: None.

Availability: Current. So far, seen on the Skydance website.

Legacy: Only time will tell if the fanfare from the movie logo would be used. Also, the basis of this logo would be later used for its Television, Interactive, and Sports divisions.
