Background

TVRI Jawa Timur, formerly known as TVRI Surabaya, is the regional TV public broadcaster of the East Java province, with its headquarters in the city of Surabaya. The subsidiary began operations in March 3, 1978.

1st ID (March 3, 1978-1982)


Visuals: On a grey background, there is a white square with the conjoined letters "tv", as well as the white letters "ri" next to the square. Below the square and letters is the white text "SUBARAYA".

2nd ID (1982-1990)

Visuals: On a gray background, there is a white sketch of a building with a radio tower (likely a different perspective of the station's headquarters). The TVRI logo, consisting of the white conjoined letters "TVRI" in front of a dodger blue pentagon, is displayed above the sketch, along with the white text "SURABAYA" sitting below.

4th ID (August 1990-August 1999)


Visuals: Taking place in front of a blue-black gradient background, the conjoined letters "TVRI" and a circle outline containing curvy lines inside fly to the near center and angles to a bottom view. Afterwards, the two fly and rotate twice at different directions as the text "SURABAYA" flies to the bottom center as the text vertically rotates.
