Background

UK Arena was launched in November 1997 as one of the four channels of the UKTV network at the time. Because it broadcasted mostly drama series, its name was changed in March 2000 to UK Drama. It was then renamed to UKTV Drama in March 2004, and then to Alibi in October 2008 when the UKTV network started to drop categorical names from its channels. With this, the channel refocused its programming to mostly crime-oriented dramas.

Technique: Realistic CG animation. This was all done by Lambie-Nairn.

Music/Sounds: A three-note leitmotif accompanied by ambient synth sounds.

2nd Logo (May 7, 2001-March 8, 2005)
