Background

Virtuos is a global video game development company headquartered in Singapore with studios across Asia, Europe, and North America. Virtuos mainly develops games and 3D art for consoles, PC, and mobile titles, working as a support and outsourcing studio for other companies. Since 2011, Virtuos has been acquired the animation studio Sparx.

Logo (March 30, 2006-)

Visuals: First, an orange circle quickly rotates and zooms out to its place over a black background, followed by a silver stretched "V" below, and the letters of the company name "VIRTUOS", all forming the logo.

Technique: CGI.

Audio: A loud whoosh is first heard when the circle appears, which is followed by a metallic whoosh.

Availability: First seen on Street Racers for PSP, and can be seen on their games such as Crash: Mind Over Mutant, Pimp My Ride: Street Racing, Hot Wheels: Battle Force 5, Monster Jam: Path of Destruction and MotorStorm: Arctic Edge.

Logo (November 14, 2006-May 6, 2008)

Visuals: Essentially the 2D logo from before, with the "V" and the company name is in white, all over a black background.

Technique: A still, digital graphic.

Audio: None.

Availability: The logo is seen on Asphalt Urban GT 2 and Speed Racer, all for the Nintendo DS.
