Background

ABC Signature was established in 2013 to separate ABC productions airing on other networks from ABC Studios. On August 10, 2020, as part of a television division restructuring, Disney combined the original ABC Signature and ABC Studios into one entity that took the Signature name. The Signature name has been phased in on former Studios productions since the restructuring.

(October 28, 2014-)

Logo: Same as the 2013 ABC Studios logo, except the word "signature" replaces "studios".

Variants:

  • The logo doesn't zoom in on some shows.
  • Starting with Home Economics, the logo zooms out.
  • On Guerrilla, the logo is in-credit and shares the screen with other logos.
  • On Bad Sisters, a print version on a black background is used.

FX/SFX: Same as the 2013 ABC Studios logo.

Music/Sounds:

  • 2015-2020: A guitar version of the music is used, the music from the 2013 ABC Studios logo, or sometimes no music.
  • 2020-: The music from the 2013 ABC Studios logo is used.

Music/Sounds Variants:

  • Since 2020, like the 2013 ABC Studios logo, long versions of the theme exist.
  • On some shows, the first 2 notes are omitted.
  • For a short time on shows such as Godfather of Harlem, Jimmy Kimmel Live!, American Housewife, Black-ish and Little Fires Everywhere, it's silent.
  • Network airings use a generic theme and a voiceover.
  • Sometimes, the ending theme of the show would be used instead, maybe for future cases.

Availability: Current.

  • It was originally seen only on its shows that this company produced for networks and streaming services such as All About the Washingtons, Mistresses, Runaways, Godfather of Realm and High Fildelty, among others.
  • Starting in 2020 shows that originally produced by ABC Studios which are Jimmy Kimmel Live!, Grey's Anatomy, Mixed-ish, Dollface, For Life, Grown-ish, The Good Doctor, Station 19, Harrow, A Million Little Things, The Gloaming, Woke, American Housewife, The Rookie and Black-ish now carry this logo from 2020 onwards.
  • It also appeared on its new and future shows that this company also produces from 2020 onwards such as The Wilds, The Mighty Ducks: Game Changers, Rebel, Call Your Mother, Queens, Promised Land, The Rookie: Feds and Five Days at Memorial, among others.
  • Like the ABC Studios logo, this does not appear on original ABC airings unless the show is co-produced by another studio, like Entertainment One on The Rookie, or Sony Pictures Television on The Good Doctor.
  • Don't expect this to appear on later episodes of The Amazing Race, along with the CBS Studios logo, despite the two companies involved in the show just like the ABC Studios logo.

Editor's Note: Considering the fact that ABC rebranded its look, the days for this logo are numbered. Only time will tell if there will be a new logo or not.
