Visuals: The 1991 Meridian logo is placed on a black background with the text "A MERIDIAN PROGRAMME" underneath.
Variants:
Sometimes, the text reads the following instead:
"A MERIDIAN PRESENTATION"
"A MERIDIAN PROGRAMME FOR ITV"
"A MERIDIAN PRESENTATION FOR ITV". This and the above variant both use the 1989 ITV logo.
Technique: A still, digital graphic.
Audio: Either the closing theme of the show, or just total silence.
Availability: Seen on Meridian shows from the time-period until 1995.
Examples include First Night on Meridian, Meridian: The First Year, seasons 1-3 of Wizadora, 1993 episodes of the UK version of Jeopardy!, and Catchphrase, along with early episodes of Zzzap, and later episodes of Houseparty, among many others.
The "A MERIDIAN PROGRAMME FOR ITV" variant with the 1989 ITV logo is also retained on the Shout! Factory DVD boxset of ReBoot: The Definite Mainframe Edition (which includes Fast Forward: The Making of ReBoot, a behind-the-scenes special intended to be aired on CITV sometime in 1995, but never did; Meridian was also responsible for acquiring the rights to ReBoot for ITV), alongside the Limelight Productions logo and the 1991 Alliance logo (all of which were seen on the original UK broadcasts of ReBoot).
2nd Logo (1995-1997)
Visuals: On a flame-like background consisting of black, blue, and orange colours, the Meridian logo from before with the company name in white is seen above "A MERIDIAN PROGRAMME".
Variants:
Like before, the text below the logo may sometimes be reworded to either "A MERIDIAN PRESENTATION", "A MERIDIAN PROGRAMME FOR ITV" or "A MERIDIAN PRESENTATION FOR ITV" with the 1989 ITV logo used on networked shows on the latter two variants.
On Who I Am?, the 1995 VCI logo appears alongside the Meridian logo. "IN ASSOCIATION WITH VCI" is also added underneath "A MERIDIAN PROGRAMME".
Technique: A still, digital graphic.
Audio: Either the closing theme of the show, or just total silence.
Availability: Seen on Meridian shows from the time-period until 1997.
Examples include the later seasons of Wizadora, Delta Wave, Ruth Rendell Mysteries, The Forgotten Toys, Out of Town, In the Wild, and season 1 of Crazy Cottage, among many others.
The "Presentation for ITV" variant with the 1989 ITV logo was also seen at the end of Call Red, following the Film and General Productions variant of the 1990 Thames Television endcap.
3rd Logo (September 2, 1996-October 4, 1998)
Visuals: The moving striped background from the 1996 ID now consists of orange, purple, and fuschia colors. Additionally, the sun/moon logo is in the same position as before and "A MERIDIAN PROGRAMME" is placed underneath.
Variants:
Like before, the text below the logo may sometimes be reworded to "A MERIDIAN PROGRAMME FOR ITV" or "A MERIDIAN PRESENTATION FOR ITV" with the 1989 ITV logo used on networked shows.
On 1997 CITV airings of various shows such as Goggle Watch, the logo is shrunken and shown alongside other logos against a dimly lit grey background. "An" and "Programme for" appear above and below the logos whereas the 1989 ITV logo is underneath all of them.
Technique: A still, digital graphic.
Audio: Either the closing theme of the show, or just total silence.
Availability: Seen on Meridian shows from the time period until 1998.
Examples include In the Dark, Sooty's Amazing Adventures, Straight Up, Monkey Business, and the final two seasons of Crazy Cottage, among many others.
The "Presentation for ITV" variant with the 1989 ITV logo is also seen at the end of the Sooty's Amazing Adventures episode "Scampi and Computer Chips", included on the 1999 UK VHS release of Calling All Toddlers from Video Working for Children.
4th Logo (October 5, 1998-2001)
Visuals: On a windy gold-orange background, the Meridian logo is in a different color palette with the moon in a brown-like color and the company name in black.
Variant: On multiple shows, the logo is seen within the United Productions logo, either underneath or side-by-side with said company's.
Technique: A still, digital graphic.
Audio: Either the closing theme of the show, or just total silence.
Availability: Seen on Meridian programmes from the time-period until 2001.
The on-screen logo was so far only seen on Grass Roots, and seasons 2-4 of Monkey Business, among others.
The United Productions variant can be seen on the last several seasons of ZZZAP!, Frank Sinatra: Good Guy, Bad Guy, and early movies of Hornblower, among others.
5th Logo (2001-October 31, 2004)
LWT/Meridian co-production variant
Visuals: On a purple room space filled by shadow copies of the Meridian symbol, there is a purple square with white Meridian logo inside. Under it is "A Meridian Production" in white.
Variants:
On Hornblower, the square is next to the A&E logo and the text underneath now reads "A Meridian Production in association with A&E Network".
On Doodlebug Summer, the LWT and Meridian squares appear alongside each other and the text now reads either "A Meridian/LWT Co-Production" or "A LWT/Meridian Co-Production" and appears in either this background with the Meridian logos or the background with the 1996 LWT logos.
A split screen version of this logo exists.
The logo also sometimes appears in the 4:3 aspect ratio.
This background may sometimes be stretched or zoomed on some shows and movies.
Technique: A still CGI render.
Audio: Either the closing theme of the show, or just total silence.
Availability: Seen on Meridian shows from the time period until 2004.
Examples include seasons 1 and 2 of The Last Detective, William & Mary, Ultimate Questions, and the latter Hornblower movies, among others.
However, it can be plastered with either Granada or ITV Studios logos on more modern releases.
Despite this, it is still intact on streaming prints of seasons 6-8 of Where the Heart Is, and seasons 5 and 6 of Monkey Business.
It is also intact on UKTV Drama airings as well as ITV3 reruns of Seasons 6-8 of Where the Heart Is.

Visuals: On a smoky dark blue background with blue outlined squares scattered around, the 2004 ITV Meridian logo with a shadow effect is above the text "An ITV Production".
Variant: On Love and War, the Peter Williams Television logo is paired with ITV Meridian's against the latter's background. Underneath, the text has been reworded to say "A Peter Williams Television production in association with ITV".
Technique: A still, digital graphic.
Audio: Either the closing theme of the show, or just total silence.
Availability:
This came at a time when the company's operations were being downgraded due to the reduction of the number of regional shows.
As a result, there are very few shows known to use this logo, which includes seasons 7-9 of Monkey Business and Love and War.
The former also still has this logo intact on streaming prints.
