Background

Astro Arena Bola is a 24-hour Malaysian sports channel launched on February 24, 2023, as a sister channel of Astro Arena. It airs live programs involving soccer in Malaysia, and is currently available on Astro channel 803.

Visuals: The sequence starts with a shot of a soccer player made up of blue crystals kicking a golden soccer ball in a neon, futuristic soccer stadium. Another soccer player, which is made up of red crystals, sees the ball and tries to catch it, along with another soccer player made up of blue crystals, who is later knocked in the head by the ball. Another player made up of red crystals manages to kick the ball. However, the ball ends up flying over the stadium. As the camera zooms to show the top of the stadium, the ball explodes to show Astro's trademark rectangular logo, with the top part being dark blue and having the Astro wordmark on it, and the bottom part being red and having "ARENA BOLA" on it. A gold curve is sandwiched by the parts of the rectangle.

Variants:

• Before live broadcasts, the logo is shifted up a bit, as "SIARAN LANGSUNG (LIVE BROADCAST)" in white, is seen below the logo, which turns gold as the logo shines.
• As a breakbumper, the scenes are rearranged. A soccer player made up of red crystals tries to catch the ball before another soccer player knocked in the head by the ball, another soccer player made up of blue crystals kick the ball and finally, the logo formation from the last few seconds of the main ident.

Technique: CGI.

Audio: It starts off with a dramatic sting, before transitioning into a dubstep tune. Booming-like and wooshing sounds are heard throughout the ident.

Audio Variant: Just the last few seconds of the ident for the breakbumper.

Visuals: The ident starts with four vertical rectangles, with the first and the fourth colored in gray, the second colored in pink and the third colored in dark gray are first shown. "o" in a light grey color is shown on the first rectangle, "Ar" in light pink is shown on the second rectangle, and a pink "e" is shown overlaid on the third and fourth rectangle. The first rectangle slides in to the left quickly slides to the left to reveal a shot of a white and green football shoes stepping on a football over a football field over a hole of the "o", with a blue rectangle with "B" in a lighter shade beside the gray rectangle, as a picture of a football field is shown on the right with the fourth rectangle quickly slides away when this happens. The picture on the right quickly moves to the left with a shot of several spectators cheering over a football match is briefly shown as a purple "B" and a pink rectangle with "o" open up, revealing six horizontal rectangles in gray, dark blue and pink, all having "Arena Bola" inside it in various colors. The rectangles open up, revealing a close-up shot of a corner of a football field with a bottom shot of the flag and its silhouette being shown on the left, and a bottom shot of an umpire holding a yellow-orange checkered flag on the right. Both footages have the pink "o" overlaid onto it, which moves to the right. The scene then moves to the left, revealing a shot of a stadium light at night on the left, and a bottom shot of a footballer about to kick the soccer ball while another footballer is following him on the right, with a dark blue rectangle separating the two footages. The entire scene moves to the right slowly before a thin pink rectangle peeks in with a shot of the stadium seats in light blue, blue and yellow on the left and a shot of the spectators at the stadium, with one of them, who wears a beige cap and green jacket, is seen cheering on the right, with a grey rectangle with "Bola" in a darker shade is briefly shown before it got obscured by the shot of the stadium seats. A different shot of a corner of a football field then slides to the left, and just as it reaches the middle, a dark grey rectangle with a text wall reading "Arena Bola" and a grey text wall reading the same text as the former, with the logo, now consists of the rounded "wave curve" rectangle, with the top part being colored in pink with "astro" (set in an Aller Bold font, which is the font of the Astro logo from the time) and the bottom part being colored in dark blue with "Arena Bola" (set in a Mulish Bold font), on it, sliding to the left from behind, with a white wave curve between the text. The dark grey rectangle then slides away as a pink thin rectangle peeks in from the left, and another dark grey rectangle appears behind the pink rectangle with a pink text wall reading "Arena Bola". A curve then draws in on the right of the logo.

Variant: For breakbumpers, the ident is shortened to its last few seconds, with the fourth scene being altered, where a pink rectangle peeks in earlier with a shot of the spectators over a shot of two footballers, and a shot of the stadium seats is briefly revealed when a shot of the football field slides in.

Technique: 2D CGI.

Audio: A rock tune played with an electric guitar and drumbeats. Several whooshes from each transition, crowd cheering on the first and fourth scene, a thud when several horizontal bars are shown, and a whistle noise on the third scene can also be heard in the background.

Audio Variant: For breakbumpers, crowd cheering are first heard, followed by a thud, a whistle blowing, a whoosh when the scene transitions into the logo, and the rock tune from the main ident.
