Background
Astro Vinmeen HD (also known as Astro விண்மீன் HD on-screen) is Astro's first Tamil-language high definition channel, co-owned with Southeast Asia's second richest man, Ananda Krishnan. Launched on October 18, 2013, the channel mostly aired reality shows, Tamil-language dramas, lifestyle programs, documentaries, blockbuster movies and Canatic music shows.
When it launched, the channel was available on channel 231, until it went renumbered to channel 202 on April 1, 2021. It also appeared on Singtel TV at channel 626, prior to its closure on July 1, 2020.

Visuals: A light shines on the left of a starfield as a purple light draws a curve before flying to the left while spinning as purple light illuminates on some parts of the purple light and the camera follows it. It stops following as a purple light forms a zig-zag like shape as blue light is seen on the bottom-left corner, before the purple light quickly goes to the right until it stops at the center of the starfield and forming the outline of the logo. The enitre logo, consisting of a cyan-purple colored "wave curve" rectangle with stacked white text "astro விண்மீன்" onto it, and a pink small box with "HD" onto it, then fades in over the outlined logo, as the starfield slowly zooms in and the space slowly fades into a purple-yellow sky and a blue surface.
Variants:
- Before live programmes, "நேரலை" appears below after the logo is revealed.
- For breakbumper, it's just the last few seconds of the ident.

Audio: A nine-note guitar tune with various shining sounds from the purple light, followed by a sitar tune which slowly transitions into a short Indian tune.
