'''Logo:''' On a {{color|deepskyblue|sky blue}} background, we see the black text "'''Original'''" appear letter by letter. A {{color|darkviolet|purple}}-colored simplified version of Bravo's speech-bubble logo (this one using a flatter design) slides in from the left and "'''Series'''" appears when it passes. The background also turns {{color|orange}} at this point. The screen slides up, leaving a white background. The network's current logo ("'''bravo'''" with all letters in lower-case within the simplified speech bubble) and the aforementioned text is present along with copyright information.

'''Technique:''' 2D animation reminiscent of what could be done on any video editing program.

'''Music/Sounds:''' A whoosh, followed by a muffled clang.

'''Availability:''' Current. Should appear on newer Bravo shows, as well as episodes of existing programs aired from this point.

'''Legacy:''' Nothing special here; it's yet another bland network ID, worsened by the fact that it had a legacy of otherwise decent logos.

Background

This is the production arm of American basic cable network Bravo, owned by NBCUniversal through its Cable Entertainment division.

1st Logo (June 12, 1994-September 8, 2002)

Visuals: On a black background, a gray plate with a silver border swings in with the Bravo text and "THE FILM AND ARTS" above the text and a line with "NETWORK" below. The text shines and settles in the center zooming out a bit.

Early Variant: A print version exists, omitting the plate. "AND" is above the logo to represent Bravo's credit as a co-producer.

Technique: CGI.

Audio: The closing theme of the show.

Availability: Appeared on seasons 1-8 of Inside the Actor's Studio.

2nd Logo (July 17, 2002-June 20, 2004)

Visuals: On a tannish yellow background, a periwinkle bar slides in to the left, with the text "Bravo", in the same font as before, cut out in it. The text "ORIGINAL PRODUCTION" appears letter-by-letter next to it, and a copyright stamp fades underneath it.

Variant: Sometimes, no copyright stamp appears.

Technique: 2D animation by Telezign.

Audio: None or the end theme of the show.

Availability: It appeared on Boy Meets Boy and season 1 of Queer Eye for the Straight Guy, among other shows. It might have a scant chance of appearing on the series' DVD releases.

3rd Logo (October 12, 2004-January 5, 2005)

Visuals: On an orange background, there is a set of close ups on the texts "Bravo" and "original production", before the camera flashes on the 3 words, with "Bravo" having a shadow behind it and being above "original production",

Technique: Motion-controlled animation, similar to the Action Adventure Network logo.

Audio: An intense techno tune or the end theme of the show.

Availability: Seen on Manhunt: The Search for America's Most Gorgeous Male Model and the first four episodes of Project Runway.

4th Logo (January 12, 2005-June 11, 2009)

Visuals: On a white background, there is a carousel of multicolored speech-bubble shapes. The shapes spin around from left to right a la flipping Post-It notes, gradually spinning drastically faster. When the last shape flips to the right, it reveals itself to be a black-colored speech-bubble with the text "Bravo" in it, in the same font as the 1994 logo. The text "A Bravo Original Production" appears to the right.

Variants:

  • Later on in 2005, a copyright stamp was added below.
  • In 2009, the logo was modified in widescreen.

Technique: 2D computer animation by OPEN.

Audio: A power pop theme. The end-title theme of the show may also be used.

Availability: It appeared on many Bravo programs of the time, such as Queer Eye for the Straight Guy, seasons 1-5 of Top Chef and seasons 1-4 of The Real Housewives of Orange County. It might be preserved on DVDs of Queer Eye, seasons 4 and 5 of said show on Amazon Instant Video, and episodes of Hey Paula, Welcome to the Parker and Date My Ex: Jo and Slade on iTunes. Visuals: On a light blue background with a faint white light in the middle, there are various shapes, each built from speech bubbles (i.e. Bravo's logo), move forward. The Bravo logo of the era is already present with "by" next to it. As the shapes move, there are five words, "creative", "fun", "inside", "future", and "original" moving forward. The last word stops right near the logo as a copyright notice fades in below.

Technique: CGI by Gretel.

Audio: A four-note electric guitar theme with one beat of a drum and a cymbal crash, sounding like the ending of a rock song.

A purple-colored simplified version of Bravo's speech-bubble logo (this one using a flatter design) slides in from the left and "Series" appears when it passes. The background also turns red at this point. The screen slides up, leaving a white background.
