Ryukyu Asahi Broadcasting Co., Ltd. (QAB, callsign JORY-DTV) launched on October 1, 1995 as the third (and last) commercial television station in Okinawa Prefecture, serving as an affiliate of the TV Asahi-run All-Nippon News Network for said prefecture, based in Naha.
1st ID (Analog, October 1, 1995-July 4, 2010)
Visuals: There is a shot of a beach in Okinawa Island as the letters "Q", "A" and "B" (with the "Q" representing a satellite dish) as it forms together before transitioning into multiple shots of locations across Okinawa while the text "JORY-TV" and "28ch" appear. Then, a map of the prefecture is shown on a blue map as it forms a globe and later into a satellite. After that, the satellite dish turns into the QAB logo. After that the logo zooms out on a multicolored glass background while the text "琉球朝日放送" appears in white before fading to the station information with some shots of the island during daytime. After that, the QAB logo alongside the text "琉球朝日放送" appears as it forms itself before fading to a white background.
Variants:
- For the closedown ident, the station information is shown during the island's sunset hours.
- Around 2006, the animation was shortened due to the introduction of digital television in Okinawa.
Technique: A mix of live-action footage and CGI.
Audio: A gentle tropical triumphant theme.
Audio Variant: The closedown variant has a rendition of the startup theme during the station information sequence.

The bird traverses into some shots of the city of Naha, until a shot of a red flower appears before transitioning into the sea where the callsigns "JORY-DTV" (digital) or "JORY-TV" (analog) appear in white alongside text stating that QAB's broadcast day is about to start. After that, the sparks traverse through the QAB logo in silver on a navy blue background. The sparks traverse through the satellite where it turns into the letter "Q". Below it, is the text "琉球朝日放送" in white
- Closedown: There is a shot of the island during sunset as it transitions to another shot during sunset before transitioning into a underwater shot during nighttime with the sparkles forming the map of Okinawa Prefecture. After that, the trail heads up into the starry sky while the text, "JORY-DTV" (digital) or "JORY-TV" (analog) appear with text stating that QAB concludes its broadcast day before transitioning into to the QAB logo with the text "琉球朝日放送" from the opening, albeit shortened.
