In February 1989, Phoenix Entertainment Group was acquired by The Hearst Corporation, who owns distributor King Features Entertainment and it was renamed to King Phoenix Entertainment. The division was later renamed in 1990 to "Hearst Entertainment Productions" after parent King Features Entertainment was renamed to Hearst Entertainment.
Visuals: On a black background, an orange light glows at the bottom-left of screen. At the top of the glow, a white-orange streak swoops up and curves around clockwise forming a giant cursive "P". Below it, the company name appears with an orange gradient crown to the left of it.
Variant: A prototype version of the logo exists, where the orange tip stays on when the text and the crown appear.
