1st Logo (September 16, 1984-December 7, 1987)


Visuals: Against a brown piece of land in which a white lighthouse is standing and some blue water below it with a wave, a starlight shines in the black sky, and from it appears aligned to the left are the words:

The starlight continues to spin in the sky.

Technique: Scanimate.

Audio: Just the sound of a foghorn.

Availability: Seen on the first two seasons of Punky Brewster on DVD and Peacock.

2nd Logo (December 4, 1987-May 27, 1988)


Visuals: A video of a lighthouse on a reef is twirling its light, with the sunset behind it. On the bottom left hand corner of the screen, the text wipes in, aligned to the left:

Technique: Computer animation combined with live-action.

Audio: Same as the previous logo or the closing theme of the show.

Availability: It's seen on seasons 3 and 4 of Punky Brewster on DVD and Peacock. Also seen on the short-lived sitcom Second Chance.

3rd Logo (September 13, 1994-October 15, 1997)


Visuals: There is a more realistic lighthouse scenery with a yellow light shining through. The company name is superimposed over it.

Technique: A live-action photograph with superimposed text.

Audio: The closing theme of the show or a generic NBC theme.

Availability: Seen only on On Our Own and Built to Last.
