Background

Mediamix Limited was a television company from Jamaica.

1st Logo (March 1994-2000)

Visuals: On a black background, "A Production of", in white and with a bottom-right facing shadow, flips in on the top right section of the screen. Five arrows also enter the screen albeit from the left, which are colored gray for the top two and bottom arrows, light gray for the third top arrow, and red for the arrow closest to the center of the screen. The top gray and light gray arrows enter the screen first, followed by the second top gray arrow emerging in between the aforementioned upper arrows, the bottom gray arrow, and the red arrow. Before the latter stops, the background zooms out to reveal itself as a circular mask; the final background is colored gray. Below where the red arrow is, "mediamix" in a blocky font slides in from the right and placed next to the bottom arrow. After said word stops sliding, "LIMITED" and "Kingston, Jamaica" fade in to "mediamix"'s bottom left and on the bottom center of the screen respectively.

Variant: On a 90's reprinting of Children of Babylon, the top right text reads "Another Production from" in a right-aligned stacked format.

Technique: Analog computer animation.

Audio: An ascending, tropical-like synthesized arpeggio plays for most of the logo. An echoed high-pitched ringing is heard when the remaining text fade in.

Availability: The logo appears on Royal Palm Estate and a 90's reprinting of Children of Babylon.

2nd Logo (May 10, 2006-February 24, 2019)

Visuals: A CGI retake of the previous logo, it starts on a dimly lit dark red background with the arrows from before sliding in from the left as the camera slightly tilts directions so that they are flat on the screen. Simultaneously, the background becomes black and zooms out, revealing a silver tunnel that shrinks to become the circle's border. The main background consists of a silver texture with no shine As said background is being revealed and the tunnel shrinks, "mediamix" in 3D fades in and zooms out from the bottom right, decreasing in depth as it backs away from the screen and its front face gains brightness. Finally, "LIMITED" slides in from the bottom left and lands flat on the aforementioned word's bottom right.

Technique: CGI.

Audio: Same as before.

Availability: The logo appears on Journey - A Tribute to The Most Hon. Portia Simpson Miller and the trailer to Glory to Gloriana.
