Background

This is Shawn Ryan's vanity card.

Logo (March 12, 2002-)

Visuals: Over some hills and mountains with a road against a cloudy sky, there is a cow and a male teenager with a red shirt standing in there. There is the text "MiddKid" with "PRODUCTIONS" below that.

Variants:

  • Sometimes, it shares the screen with other logos.
  • On The Unit episode "Old Home Week", the teenager is wearing a green shirt.
  • On Terriers and Last Resort, a sea landscape appears instead of the mountain, a surfboard appears instead of the cow and a seagull is flying under the clouds. The latter show adds a submarine into the water.
  • On The Chicago Code, the backdrop is a skyline of Chicago and the teenager (with glasses) is shown playing a hockey game.
  • On the U.S. remake of Mad Dogs, the sea landscape variant has sand instead of grass. Also, the teenager is holding a fly swatter.
  • On the 2017 version of S.W.A.T., the teenager is wearing a S.W.A.T. shirt and helmet, the mountain has the Middlebury sign, and there's a beach landscape instead of a road. Plus, there is a skyline of Los Angeles.
  • On The Night Agent, the design is completely different. The teenager is seen running and holding hands with a girl on a grassy hill, and there are silhouetted landmarks of Washington seen in the background. Plus, "PRODUCTIONS" is in a black color.

Technique: A still, digital graphic.

Audio: None, the end theme of the show, or a generic theme on ABC, CBS, Fox and NBC.

Availability: Seen on The Shield, The Unit, the second season of Lie to Me, Terriers, The Chicago Code, Last Resort, Mad Dogs, Timeless, the 2017 version of S.W.A.T., and The Night Agent.
