Visuals: Superimposed on the show's opening and/or ending sequence is the 1953 NTV wordmark, consisting of the words "日本テレビ" in a cubic-style script, usually in white.

Variant: Since 1993, the station introduced a Nandarō symbol, a green pig designed by Studio Ghibli co-founder Hayao Miyazaki originally meant for the station's 40th anniversary and began implementing it during their shows around that same time. However, for some shows, such as Anpanman, it wouldn't be implemented until 1996.

Technique: A superimposed hand-painted and later, digital graphic.

Audio: The opening or ending theme of the show.

Availability: Seen on NTV's productions beginning with Sankyō zesuchuakuizu, Satsuki-san and Pakku machi o iku among others. However, footage from those shows have yet to be found.

2nd Logo (July 2003-December 26, 2013)

Visuals: Superimposed on the show's opening and/or ending sequence is the 2003 NTV logo, consisting of the Nandarō symbol and the words "日テレ", usually in white.
