On April 26, 2011, Hearst acquired a 50% stake in Mark Burnett's production company and created a joint venture with Burnett to form One Three Media. On September 22, 2014, Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer Studios acquired a 55% stake in the company and its division Lightworkers Media. Then they consolidated the two companies into a new company that revived the United Artists brand, "United Artists Media Group", with Burnett's wife, actress and producer Roma Downey, joining the company.
Visuals: A light flare reveals a "1" (stylized as the letter "I") and a number "3" on a gray background with white flooring, with a spotlight shining on the numbers. Then, an "O" slides from the left of the "1", and the letters "NE" slide from the right of the same number. The same thing happens to the "3", whereas a "THR" slides from the left of it, and an "E" slides from the right of the same number. The resulting product looks like this:
"MEDIA" turns to the right of "THR3E" and is stylized sideways. A banner turns up from the bottom of the logo and reads "A HEARST | MARK BURNETT COMPANY". The logo shines.
Variant: On CNBC airings of Shark Tank, the print logo (without the byline and with the "1" and "3" in white) appears with the Sony logo next to it. This appears in the split-screen credits (the regular logo combo (One Three/Sony Pictures Television) appears before the credits.
Technique: CGI.
Audio: None, the closing theme (on Shark Tank) or a generic theme (and a voice over) on NBC or ABC.
