1st Logo (1979-1981)



Visuals: On a black background, the word "Punch" is seen in a 50's-style font surrounded by various interlocked rectangular lines, connected to the first and last letters of the word. Below it has the words "La carabina de Ambrosio" in cursive which translates to "Ambrosio's Carbine" in Spanish.

Technique: A still printed image.

Audio: A dark humming sound, followed by a deep explosion sound and a triangle-wave tone. All of it plays at a loud volume.

Availability: Unknown. [Examples?]

2nd Logo (1981-1986)


Visuals: Over a black/blue background is the rectangular lines from before in silver at the top of the screen. These shine while the red word "Punch" zooms in and placed inside the available space of the lines.

Technique: CGI.

Audio: A synthesized tune with drumbeats.

Availability: Unknown. [Examples?]

3rd Logo (1986-1991)


Visuals: On a blue/gray gradient background, there is a sphere. Some colored stripes go to the sphere and fill it up. Stars then appear in order of the music. After that, the stripes move to give space to the zooming word "PUNCH". A outlined/rounded rectangle then starts drawing. The word then shines.

Variant: There exists a short version.

Technique: CGI.

Audio: An ascending synth tune, followed by a 6-note bell tune when the stars appear, then an announcer saying: "Punch presento el anterior programa". Some funky music plays after.

Audio Variant: The short version of the logo has a timpani roll when the announcer speaks.

4th Logo (1991-2000)


Visuals: There's a gray surface with the words "PUNCH" engraved on it. 3D colored mid-circles appear zooming out and stop, and then the word "PUNCH" appears on the center by a moving rectangle, and a outlined/rounded rectangle (not like the previous logo) zooms out. The background then darkens.

Technique: CGI.

Audio: An 80s synth-pop like arpeggio, followed by a short majestic brass fanfare with an announcer saying "Punch presenta el siguiente programa".

Availability: Appeared on the company's last programs like Todo el mundo esta feliz.
