Background

Radar was a British television production company, latterly part of RDF Television.

Logo (January 18, 2001-January 1, 2006)

Visuals: On a white background, five bars made up of two thin red lines with gold ends slide in to form "radar"

Variants:

  • In the logo's early years, "Part of the RDF Media Group" wipes in below "rad".
  • On 50 Greatest specials, the logo is inside a horizontal white box.

Technique: 2D computer animation.

Audio: Electronic beeping, followed by an echoed, robotic voice saying the company name three times.

Availability: The logo is seen on Banzai, Topranko!, and a few 50 Greatest specials such as The 50 Greatest Documentaries.
