Background

Radio Televisyen Malaysia (RTM) (English: Radio Television of Malaysia) is the national public broadcaster of Malaysia. Established on 1 April 1946 as Radio Malaya, it is the first and the oldest broadcaster in the country. Currently, it operates 6 television channels (including TV1 and TV2) and 34 radio stations nationwide.

Logo: On a brown and tan background, we see the text SIARAN NASIONAL (NATIONAL BROADCAST) with the gold RTM logo at the right under the text.

Technique: None. It's a still logo.

Music/Sounds: Just a woman saying "Inilah TV Malaysia, Siaran Nasional. (This is TV Malaysia, National Broadcasting.)"

Availability: Extinct. This ident was used for the company's first channel. It was also used for TV Malaysia Sabah during the start of the 1980's.
