Background

This is the production company of Dan Schneider, a former actor on Head of the Class and creator of the Nickelodeon shows The Amanda Show, Drake & Josh, Zoey 101, iCarly, Victorious, Henry Danger, and Game Shakers, along with the spin-off shows Sam & Cat and The Adventures of Kid Danger. The company was founded on June 6, 1996, and it is named after Schneider's father's business located in Memphis, Tennessee. The company went dormant after Schneider was fired from Nickelodeon on March 26, 2018 due to allegations of sexual misconduct and gender discrimination towards various Nickelodeon employees, which resulted in Game Shakers and The Adventures of Kid Danger being cancelled, while Henry Danger was renewed for a fifth and final season with Christopher J. Nowak serving as showrunner. However, Schneider announced in 2021 that he has been working on several new projects since his departure from Nickelodeon and his website remained active until March 18, 2024, after his interview on YouTube with BooG!E (who had appeared as recurring character T-Bo on iCarly) regarding the 2024 ID docuseries Quiet on Set: The Dark Side of Kids TV. The company did not use an on-screen logo until 2003.

Logo (July 26, 2003-June 8, 2019)

Visuals: Against a green background with sparkle patterns on it, there is a white and cyan oven (which has the futuristic text "Deluxe" in white on the blue oval at the right). The camera then shakes and the oven opens up a little twice. It then fully opens with a cloud of smoke as the company name in an orange '50s-style script font flashes, with a filmstrip on the tail of the "y" in "Bakery" extending to the bottom of the oven door.

Trivia:

  • A similar oven to the one in this logo was used on the set of iCarly.
  • In the 2009 and 2011 versions of this logo, the white outline is absent when the logo forms.

Variants:

  • The logo can be displayed in either 4:3 or 16:9.
  • During the logo's early usage, the oven's exterior is brighter, the interior is darker, the animation is less refined, there is no cloud of smoke, the "Deluxe" text is in black, and the sparkles on the wallpaper are clearer and easier to see.
  • Beginning with the iCarly episode "iMake Sam Girlier", the text "DANWARP" (in Bank Gothic Italic) swirls in and shines below the logo, and a small red Wi-Fi signal icon appears to the right of it. This is used to advertise Schneider's social media accounts. Plus, a preheat light is added on top of the oven, where it goes from red to black when the logo appears out of the oven, and the logo has been shrunken down to fit the "DANWARP" text.
    • Beginning with the iCarly episode "iLost My Mind", an "@" was added before the name. This variant can also be seen on later episodes of Victorious.
    • Starting with Sam & Cat, the logo is shrunken down even further, the oven dials (save for the clock) are moving, the company name now has a drop-shadow, the preheat light is pseudo-3D, and the oven's interior is darker (similar to the early logo).

Technique: CGI.

Audio: Two crashing sounds when the oven shakes and a ding (like an oven timer). When the oven door drops, a sizzling sound is heard followed by a man (presumably Dan Schneider himself) saying "Mmmm!".

Audio Variants:

  • On some early episodes of Drake & Josh, a different "Mmmm!" sound recording is used.
  • For the DanWarp variant, after the oven opens up, a flash is heard when the text forms and a ding when it shines.
  • Sometimes, the show's ending theme either trails off into the logo or plays over the logo.

Availability:

  • The early variant was seen on the first two seasons of Drake & Josh and the final season of the original run of All That.
    • It also first appeared on the R U All That?: Nickelodeon's Search for the Funniest Kid in America finale.
  • The later variants can be seen on seasons 3 and 4 of Drake & Josh, Sam & Cat, Victorious, and Zoey 101 on TeenNick and iCarly and on both Nickelodeon and TeenNick, and home media releases of these shows, TV movies, and specials of them.
  • Also seen on seasons 1-4 of Henry Danger, Game Shakers, and The Adventures of Kid Danger.
  • Starting with the Henry Danger episode, "Danger Things", this logo has been removed, with only the 2009 Nickelodeon Productions logo appearing at the end. Despite this, it still appeared on the episodes "Rubber Duck" and "Thumb War" and the final eleven episodes of Game Shakers, which were produced before Schneider's firing.
  • This logo does not appear on season 11 of All That, Danger Force, the 2021 revival of iCarly, Zoey 102, or Good Burger 2, as Schneider had no involvement with any of those projects due to his departure from Nickelodeon, though he was still credited as the creator or co-creator.
  • This logo also doesn't appear on season 9 of All That (most likely after the winner of the R U All That? contest) and the 2012 unaired pilot of the scrapped iCarly spin-off Gibby, despite Schneider being involved.
