Background

TVN Red Austral is one of the regional networks from the state-owned channel TVN, and is TVN's most oldest regional station (in fact, even slightly more than the national channel).

Visuals: On a stormy sky with several lines moving and circles expanding, the 1996 TVN logo, consists of the letter "T" (without its two rectangles connecting) next to a shorter "V" and "N", all three of which are italicized, and there are red and blue parallelograms over the "V" and "N", appear slightly moving away with the words "Red Austral" in white. Several copies of the words appear fading in and out. The circles and lines also disappear from the screen, leaving only the TVN logo.

Technique: 2D CGI.

Audio: The same triumphant horn fanfare from the 1996 logo. An announcer is heard saying "Red Austral de Television Nacional de Chile".
