TV Seda

From the Audiovisual Identity Database, the motion graphics museum

Background

TV Seda was a television station operated in Grozny, Ichkeria.

ID (1993)

Visuals: The sequence starts off with a footage of a red star flying across a grey grid with a black landmass shown on it, as well later flying across a wireframe city (a footage of the 1993 music video "Go West" by Pet Shop Boys) with a blue gradient rectangle with a green outline and the white text "TV SEDA" in a computerized font in it in the upper-right corner. The footage then reverses and splits into quarters flipped to the opposite sides. The logo then zooms in frame-by-frame, pixelating as it covers the screen. The effect decreases revealing the text and the station's number.

Technique: CGI and computer effects.

Audio: A news-styled synth theme, followed by the start and a guitar solo of "I've Been Thinking About You" by Londonbeat.
