(September 1997-1998)

Logo: Same as the 1997 Universal Television logo, but the name reads as "UNIVERSAL TELEVISION ENTERTAINMENT" as it fades in under the logo. The copyright notice is intact.

Variants:

  • A long version of the logo exists.
  • A filmed version exists on the miniseries House of Frankenstein.

Technique: CGI.

Music/Sounds: Same as the 1997 Universal Television logo. A long version exists. NBC and CBS airings used a generic theme.

Availability: Rare.

  • It appeared on the 1997 miniseries House of Frankenstein, and was also seen on original TV prints of TV movies such as No Laughing Matter.
  • However, VHS releases have the logo removed in favor of the 1997 Universal Pictures logo at the beginning, much like its predecessor.
